We arrived in Chinook at my friends family reunion mid day on Saturday. It was a relaxing day meeting new people, having good conversion and eating some great food. When things started to settle down a bit, I grabbed my camera to go on a walk. I shot a few photos of some drift wood at the waters edge on the Columbia River. The day was soon over. After seeing the sea lions down in the cave, we took the elevator back to the top of the cliff-side and continued on to another viewing area high above the ocean where the sea lions on the beach or visible. Along the walk way there is also a great view of the local lighthouse. We then hurried back to the car and continued on our journey up highway 101 to our next KOA campsite for the night.
